10x Team is seeking a Freelance Principal Software Engineer – AI Trainer to shape AI-assisted software engineering outputs. This remote, project-based role is open to professionals in the EU or UK, with 8–20 hours per week of flexible, asynchronous work.

You will leverage your architectural leadership to improve AI models and provide expert feedback. Join a network of independent experts, work 100% remotely, and contribute to practical AI-driven case studies and scenarios in software

Qualifications

Experienced Principal Software Engineer with a strong background in software architecture, development, and leadership.
Deep understanding of programming languages, architectural patterns, and best practices.
Ability to deliver structured, actionable feedback on AI-assisted outputs.

Responsibilities

Review and refine AI-generated outputs related to software engineering and architecture.
Assess accuracy and practicality of AI-driven recommendations on design, testing, and implementation.
Develop real-world case studies and technical scenarios from professional experience.
Create scenario variations covering the software development lifecycle and industry best practices.
Identify gaps or risks in AI recommendations and provide structured feedback.
Influence how AI systems interpret and apply engineering principles and coding standards.
