Career Genie, Inc is seeking a Senior Industrial/Product Designer to shape the design of the Ardia robots in Caniçal, Madeira. This founding role offers the opportunity to design robot exteriors, ensuring functionality and manufacturability as production ramps up.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of experience in industrial design, a strong portfolio of real products, and the ability to work closely with engineers to translate ideas into tangible designs. Competitive salary and benefits, including relocation assistance, are provided.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of experience as a senior industrial/product designer.
• Strong portfolio showcasing physical products, not just renders.
• Experience in robotics, automotive, consumer hardware, or medical devices.

Responsabilidades

• Own the industrial/product design of robot exteriors.
• Translate engineering constraints into manufacturable forms.
• Collaborate with engineers on design for manufacturability.
• Define materials, finishes, and colors for production.
• Set human-interaction details for the robots.
