Rumo Intelligence is a growing AI consultancy, established around six months ago. We partner closely with our clients to help them adopt AI in practical, responsible, and commercially useful ways. Our clients range from high-profile organisations to NGOs and mid-sized businesses across the UK and Europe.

Our core services are:

• AI training for executives and teams
• AI use case exploration, delivery, and scaling
• Due diligence and assessment of AI investments

We work as true partners to our clients, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery.

The Role

This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role working directly as the right hand to the founder. As a Founder’s Associate, your primary focus will be technical execution—building, testing, and delivering AI solutions. While you will get exposure to strategy, sales, and operations, we are looking first and foremost for a builder.

You will play a central role in turning abstract ideas into working proofs of concept for our clients. This role suits a self‑starter who is comfortable with ambiguity, loves experimenting with new tech, and wants to accelerate their career by growing with an early‑stage consultancy.

Key Responsibilities (in priority order)

1. Technical Delivery & AI Experimentation (The Core Focus)

• Build and Configure: Get hands‑on with tools like Power Automate and Copilot to build workflows and prototypes.
• Experiment: Test new AI tools and LLMs to validate ideas and build Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
• Deliver: Assist directly with client project delivery, ensuring technical solutions work as intended.
• Learn: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging AI tools and figure out how to apply them pragmatically to client problems.

2. Operations & Project Coordination

• Help establish and run light‑touch processes to keep client engagements on track.
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies across multiple projects.
• Ensure the “machine” of the business keeps running smoothly while the founder focuses on client strategy.

3. Strategic Support (Learning Opportunity)

• Assist in creating slide decks, proposals, and sales materials (taking the founder’s rough ideas and polishing them).
• Support the creation of marketing content or thought leadership pieces.
• Note: This is a support function. You do not need to be a strategy expert, just organized and capable of communicating clearly.

Skills and Experience

• Technical Curiosity & Aptitude: You are the person who “figures it out.” You have hands‑on experience experimenting with AI tools, automations, or low‑code platforms.
• Tech Stack Familiarity: Experience within the Microsoft ecosystem (Power Automate, Copilot, M365) and familiarity with LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.).
• Execution Focus: You enjoy finishing tasks and shipping work more than theorizing about it.
• Remote Autonomy: Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving, remote environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in consulting or client‑facing delivery roles.
• Experience in project management or operations.
• Experience supporting sales proposals or creating presentation decks.

Tools and Technology

We don’t expect you to be a master of everything, but you must be confident learning these quickly:

• LLMs: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude.

Working Arrangements

• Remote: Fully remote role.
• Location: Candidates must be based in the UK or Portugal.
• Travel: Occasional travel required for client or team meetings.
• Flexibility: Role can be full‑time or part‑time. We are flexible for the right person.
