Job summary

Qatar Wellness Network is seeking a skilled Formworker to join our Almada team. The role involves reading construction plans, measuring and cutting materials, and assembling forms for concrete structures. You will install form work, pour concrete, and ensure surfaces meet project specifications.

The ideal candidate is physically fit with proven formwork experience, can follow blueprints precisely, and maintain high safety standards on site in Almada. Valid work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Formworker in construction.
• Able to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Physically fit to lift heavy objects and handle manual tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans to determine formwork requirements.
• Measure and cut timber, plywood, and steel to build forms.
• Assemble forms using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Install form ties for reinforcement and pour concrete into forms.
• Remove forms after curing and perform repairs as needed.

Formworker

We are in need of a skilled Formworker to join our team in Almada. As a Formworker, you will be responsible for creating and setting up forms for concrete structures, ensuring they are strong, durable, and accurate according to construction plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction plans to determine formwork requirements
• Measure and cut materials such as timber, plywood, and steel bars to construct forms
• Assemble forms using various tools and equipment
• Install form tie systems for reinforcement
• Pour concrete into forms and smooth surfaces using hand or power tools
• Remove forms once concrete has cured
• Repair or replace damaged formwork as needed
• Follow safety regulations at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Formworker in the construction industry
• Familiarity with safe handling of materials and tools
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Valid work visa in Almada

Salary

The salary for this position is $1300 per month.
