Job summary

NextSolutions is seeking a Formworker in Faro, Portugal to construct temporary frameworks supporting concrete in construction projects. You will work full time, using wood, steel, and aluminum to form structures that hold concrete until it cures.

Strong math, blueprint reading, and stamina are essential for safe, precise execution. Responsibilities include setting up and inspecting formwork, cutting materials, installing rebar, and respecting safety protocols on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with vocational training.
• Good communication with on-site colleagues.
• Attention to detail for precise measurements.
• Experience with formwork systems.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans.
• Strong math skills to measure and cut materials.
• Physical stamina for lifting and heights.

Responsibilities

• Setting up formwork following engineers' specifications.
• Inspecting forms for proper alignment and levelness.
• Cutting materials to size using hand or power tools.
• Installing reinforcing bar or wire mesh inside forms before pouring concrete.
• Removing forms after concrete has cured.
• Cleaning up work areas after each project.
• Using digital or laser levels to ensure accuracy.
• Operate cranes or forklifts to move materials on site.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
