Dronamics is seeking a Flight Mechanics and Simulation Engineer to join the DOA R&D team in the Azores. You will review and enhance flight mechanics models, extend MATLAB code for aircraft analysis, and maintain the in-house flight simulator while supporting flight tests and technical documentation.

Experience with MB Design and aerodynamics is essential. The role requires at least 3 years in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering, strong MATLAB/Simulink skills, and a background in both CFD/BEM and

Qualificações

• Graduate degree in aerospace engineering or related field with industry experience
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink proficiency and numerical modelling experience
• Experience with flight mechanics, CFD/BEM, and aircraft dynamic models
• Familiarity with model-based design and data structures in MATLAB

Responsabilidades

• Review and improve flight mechanics models
• Enhance MATLAB codebase for aircraft analysis
• Maintain and improve in-house flight simulator
• Write technical documentation and review methodologies
• Support flight tests and analyse data
• Collaborate with Aerodynamics and Loads teams
• Provide linearisations, trim and stability analyses
