The role oversees installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment in industrial settings, requiring strong leadership and hands-on expertise. You will guide fitters, interpret drawings, and ensure safety and quality across projects.

Minimum 5 years as a fitter with supervisory experience is preferred. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems is essential, along with solid communication skills

Fitter Supervisor (Faro)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fitter Supervisor to join our team in Faro. As a Fitter Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems in various industrial settings. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of fitters and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely
• Plan and schedule installation and maintenance projects according to customer needs
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements
• Order necessary materials and equipment for each project
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely solutions
• Train new fitters on company procedures and best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Fitter in an industrial setting
• Prior experience in a supervisory role is preferred
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• High attention to detail with a focus on quality control

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification or training in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.

Salary:

The salary for this position is $1200 per month.
