A fitter assistant is a crucial member of our team responsible for providing support and assistance to our experienced fitters in the installation and maintenance of various machinery and equipment This role is based in Faro a beautiful coastal city located in the southern region of Portugal

As a fitter assistant your main duties will include assisting with the set-up and dismantling of machinery as well as performing routine maintenance tasks under the guidance of our experienced fitters You will also be responsible for keeping the work area clean and organized as well as helping with inventory management

This position is ideal for someone who is physically fit and enjoys working with their hands While previous experience as a fitter is not required some basic knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment would be an asset We are looking for someone who is willing to learn and has a strong work ethic

To be successful in this role you must have good communication skills and be able to follow instructions effectively You should also have a keen eye for detail and take pride in your work As you will be working closely with our experienced fitters having a positive attitude and willingness to learn from them is essential

This is an entry-level position with a starting salary of 1700$ per month
