Job summary

LUZA Group is seeking a FinOps and cloud cost management specialist in Portugal to drive cost optimization across cloud platforms. You will implement cost controls, work with product and engineering teams, and deliver regular spend analyses to stakeholders.

The role requires expertise in cloud financial analysis, strong Excel/Power BI capabilities, and a collaborative approach to cross-functional governance. A hybrid work model and a benefits plan are provided.

Qualifications

• Expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
• Experience with cloud platforms and billing structures (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong Excel and Power BI skills for budgeting, forecasting and cost reporting.

• Implement FinOps strategies, policies, and best practices aligned to Group standards to control cloud spending.
• Provide cost optimization insights across product, engineering and architecture teams.

What You'll do:

• - Implement FinOps strategies, policies, and best practices aligned to Group standards to control cloud spending.
• - Expertise of product management and finance processes
• - Service with AXA GO Products on product management and product finance processes and recharging mechanisms
• -Support Budget/Forecast and Cost Optimization target setting processes
• - Service across product, engineering and architecture teams to identify cost optimizations while not endangering quality of service
• - Drive governance activities
• - Monitor, analyze, and optimize cloud costs and usage across multiple cloud platforms to drive cost visibility and transparency of Cloud costs across the product lines
• - Provide regular reports and insights on cloud spend, trends, and anomalies to stakeholders
• - Expertise on cross-functional communication for promoting the culture of financial accountability
• - Implement tools and automation for cost tracking, reporting, and optimization
• - Hybrid work model

Who You Are:

• Expertise in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud financial analysis.
• Expertise in Cloud operations and/or financial management, expertise with cloud-based architectures, cloud provider tools, financial and systems for budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization
• Expertise of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their billing structures.
• Expertise in IT asset management or cost accounting
• Certification from Cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and/or FinOps Foundation
• Conduct and present analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
• Expertise in financial and analytical expertise
• Expertise of Microsoft Office Suite & Power BI required (extensive expertise of Excel required)
• Expertise with IBM Cloudability
• Expertise on computer science, Financials
• English C1 mandatory
