We are recruiting a Customer Financial Services Supervisor for a client based in Porto.

The Supervisor is responsible for providing day-to-day supervision and coordination support to a team of operational and/or clerical employees, or contractors. This role ensures the successful completion of team tasks and oversees employee-related activities in accordance with local policies. The Supervisor plays a key role in performance monitoring, employee development, and administrative duties, while also supporting disciplinary actions and contract management under the supervision of relevant management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support the team in executing daily tasks, ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Oversee Ship to Collect, GCI, Credit and Collections, Disputes, Cash Applications, and Billing processes.
• Manage and resolve escalated or high-impact customer and vendor issues.
• Support the manager in resource planning and allocation, ensuring department priorities are met.
• Identify training needs and develop training materials and content for team development.
• Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and financial performance while ensuring operational effectiveness.
• Implement corrective actions based on business needs and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in supervising operational or administrative teams in the financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial processes, including credit, collections, and billing.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven.
• Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of other languages will be considered a plus.
