Qualifications

• Higher education in Economics, Management, Engineering, Sciences or similar.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in preparation and monitoring of applications for financial and/or fiscal incentive systems.
• Experience in incentive consulting companies, preferably with direct contact with customers.
• Knowledge of programmes and incentive systems, including Portugal 2030, PRR, COMPETE 2030, SIFIDE, R&D, Productive Innovation, Qualification and Internationalisation of SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Identify funding opportunities and incentive systems appropriate to the profile and objectives of each client.
• Develop and monitor applications for programmes such as Portugal 2030, PRR, COMPETE 2030, SIFIDE, Horizon Europe, Productive Innovation, Qualification and Internationalisation of SMEs, among others.
• Monitor the entire process, from the analysis of the opportunity and preparation of the application to the submission and monitoring of the project.
• Plan and coordinate with autonomy the activities of the different projects.
• Managing the relationship with customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate financing solutions.
• Monitor the procedures with the competent authorities, ensuring compliance with requirements and deadlines.
• Contribute to the commercial development of the consultancy service by identifying new opportunities for customers.
• Support and accompany more junior members of the team.

Role summary

We are looking for a Financial Incentives Consultant with effective experience in consulting financial and tax incentives, preferably integrated with a consulting firm that provides this type of service to customers.

We are looking for a person able to follow the projects independently, from the identification of the funding opportunity to the preparation, submission and monitoring of the applications, but who also has a strong component of consulting and relationship with the client.

It is important that you are able to understand the business and sector of each customer, identify the most appropriate funding opportunities and present solutions clearly and structuredly.

Requirements

• minimum of 2 years of experience in the preparation and monitoring of applications for financial and/or fiscal incentive systems;
• Experience in incentive consulting companies, preferably with direct contact with customers ;
• Knowledge of programmes and incentive systems, including Portugal 2030, PRR, COMPETE 2030, SIFIDE, R&D, Productive Innovation, Qualification and Internationalisation of SMEs;
• Ability to understand different businesses and identify funding opportunities ;
• Strong communication capacity, interpersonal relationship and presentation of solutions ;
• Autonomy, organization, analytical thinking and guidance for results ;
• Team spirit and ability to follow more junior profiles ;
• Fluency in English and/or French, spoken and written.

Conditions

• Direct contract with the customer;
