Una Seguros SA is seeking a seasoned Financial Director to lead the subsidiary's accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes in Portugal. The role prioritizes IFRS compliance, treasury management, and robust internal controls to drive profitability and risk mitigation.

The candidate will oversee audits, provide financial analysis for management decisions, and support cross-border financial operations within the Group.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance/accounting or related fields.
• International certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
• 8+ years of financial work experience; experience as Financial Director/Manager in Europe is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Establish and improve financial management and control systems in line with local regulations and IFRS; optimize structure and team building; establish risk prevention and control mechanisms.
• Oversee accounting, preparation and submission of financial statements and closing; coordinate audits; conduct financial analysis for decision-making.
• Manage treasury and tax affairs; organize annual budgeting, monitor implementation, control costs; analyze variances and profitability.
• Participate in major decisions and investment evaluations for the subsidiary; coordinate with relevant parties; support Group and management.

Key Responsibilities

Establish and improve the subsidiary's financial management and control system in compliance with Portuguese local regulations, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the Group's financial management policies; optimize organizational structure and team building; establish risk prevention and control mechanisms to ensure compliant and efficient financial operations.

About the Role

In charge of accounting, preparation and submission of financial statements, and financial closing for the subsidiary; coordinate internal and external audits; conduct financial analysis and provide professional support to management for decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Manage the subsidiary's treasury and tax affairs, optimize fund allocation, mitigate financial risks, ensure compliant tax filing and planning, and facilitate smooth cross-border fund flows.
• Organize the subsidiary's annual budgeting, implementation monitoring, and cost control; analyze budget variances, optimize cost structures, and ensure budget targets are achieved while enhancing profitability.
• Participate in major operational decisions and investment project evaluations for the subsidiary; coordinate with all relevant parties; and complete other finance-related tasks assigned by the Group and the Company's management.

Qualifications

• Familiar with European local culture, business environment, and regulations, and able to work long-term in Portugal.
• 8+ years of financial work experience, with prior experience as Financial Director/Manager in Europe (especially Portugal); prior experience in a Big Four European accounting firm is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or above in finance/accounting or related fields; internationally recognized certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.

Required Skills

• Fluent in both Chinese and English; Portuguese fluency is a plus; strong resilience under pressure and ability to adapt to an overseas work pace.
• Proficient in IFRS, Portuguese local fiscal and tax regulations, and foreign exchange rules; substantial experience in tax planning, treasury management, and internal control development; skilled in using financial and office software.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in a Big Four European accounting firm is preferred.
