Job summary

Sky Portugal is seeking a Financial Controller to lead day-to-day financial operations and support strategic decision-making. You will deliver accurate reports, forecasts and analyses, and safeguard company assets in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires IFRS expertise, 6+ years in corporate finance, and strong English (C2). You will interact with the UK finance team and external partners to ensure compliant, efficient processes.

Qualifications

• Education in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in finance roles.
• Experience in Corporate Finance in international environments.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations and accounting for Sky Portugal.
• Deliver financial reports, forecasts and analyses for decision-making.
• Monitor Sky Portugal costs by business area and cost centres.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and financial regulations.
• Liaise with UK Finance and external stakeholders (banks, auditors, advisers).
