This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to develop expertise in accounting and treasury operations. Responsibilities include day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and supporting treasury management. Candidates should possess a relevant bachelor's degree and fluency in English and Portuguese. The role offers a hybrid work model, with 1-2 days per week in the office.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting and SNC.
• Understanding of cash flow management and financial planning.

Responsabilidades

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including purchases, sales, bank, and cash entries.
• Assist in preparing monthly closings and financial statements.
• Support with treasury management and recording expenses.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure cash flow accuracy.
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for management.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Financial & Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team. This role is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow their expertise in accounting, treasury operations, and financial reporting.

Place of work

• Hybrid work model: 1-2 days per week in the office in Lisbon.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks (purchases, sales, bank, and cash entries).
• Assist in preparing monthly closings and financial statements.
• Support with treasury management, including recording and monitoring expenses.
• Conduct bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in cash flow control (inflows and outflows).
• Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for management.
• Use advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, financial formulas) to support financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of general accounting and SNC (Accounting Standardization System).
• Understanding of cash flow management and financial planning.
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and methodical.
• Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
