Younited, a leading fintech company in Portugal, is seeking a Finance Operator to ensure the accuracy and quality of financial information. You will prepare regulatory reports, manage accounting for invoices, and assist with P&L analyses. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of corporate accounting and taxation. This is a permanent position offering flexible working hours and a hybrid work model.

Qualificações

• Preparing regulatory reports for the Bank of Portugal.

We are now looking for a person to ensure the smooth day‑to‑day operation of our business within the Portuguese Finance team. This role is key to guaranteeing the accuracy and quality of our financial information and to supporting the growth of our local operations.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Portuguese Branch CFO, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing regulatory reports for the Bank of Portugal, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Accounting management of invoices and payments to suppliers.
• Supporting the development and optimization of tax models for Portugal, as well as preparing financial reports.
• Assisting in the control of the branch’s P&L, analyzing the deviations from the budget, and identifying improvements.
• Supporting the management of account audits and other types of audits.

Qualifications

• Has strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Is proficient in Excel (programming skills not required).
• Has knowledge of corporate accounting and taxation, ideally with previous experience in auditing (though not essential) and on Financial Services industry
• Is eager to learn and motivated to take on a new challenge in a key position.
• Has strong communication skills and a high level of English.
• Is comfortable working as a team member.
