EDITEC is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance department across operations in Portuguese-speaking Africa, reporting to London controllers. You will develop and implement financial strategy, manage risk, and ensure timely, accurate reporting.

The role requires ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, strong Excel, experience in fast-paced environments, and team leadership, plus excellent Portuguese communication. You will cooperate with the CEO and Group CFO; field visits are part of the role.

Qualificações

• ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent, or QBE accounting pathway.
• Proven track record managing a finance function in a fast paced, complex environment.
• Experience leading a small finance team is advantageous.
• Excellent Portuguese verbal and written communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Finance Department and partner with CEO, Group CFO and controllers in London.
• Develop and execute financial strategy, budgets, and cash-flow management.
• Ensure reconciliation of daily cash transfers and timely financial reporting.
• Oversee risk management, controls, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Maintain relationships with external auditors and statutory bodies.
• Support year-end accounts preparation and annual audit.
