Farfetch in Porto is seeking a Finance Business Partner to guide monthly close, accounting policy amendments, and intercompany collaboration. You will work with the Accounting team to ensure timely worldwide closing and robust financial controls.

The role requires 3-5 years in Accounting or Financial Reporting, strong Excel and ERP experience, and English fluency. You will contribute to process improvements, risk assessment, and cross‑functional finance initiatives in a fast-paced global

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Strong Excel and ERP experience.
• IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• SOX controls knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post accounting entries with accuracy and timeliness
• Support the month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items under supervision
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other statutory reporting requirements
• Support the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits
• Perform accounting controls and SOX activities in accordance with established procedures
• Process and analyse accounting data, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Assist in identifying and resolving accounting discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Contribute to process improvements and standardisation initiatives within the Accounting team
• Collaborate with other Finance teams and business stakeholders to resolve accounting queries
