We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join our Industry Automation team in Portugal to be part of one of our largest clients for the oil and gas industry sector located in Sines at the client\'s site. The primary purpose of this position is to deliver superior customer satisfaction. Achieve the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex automation equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver remote and face to face support & services effectively.
• Ability to implement small to large automation projects autonomous or integrated in a project team.
• Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues, and input accurately and within Service Level Agreement timing.
• Comply with all GSM processes for documentation and customer communication.
• Maintain proactive and timely communications, providing frequent and informative customer updates.
• Initiate engineering change requests providing detailed descriptions ofproduct faults, customer special requests, and product enhancements.
• Install and perform repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
• Respond to the high volume of customer inquiries in an efficient and accurate manner, meeting or exceeding the published SLA (Service Level Agreement) for Response and Resolution.

Qualifications

• 3-5yrs of experience in Automation Systems (DCS, ESD, F&G, PLC, SCADA, etc) engineering, operations, or services support functions within the Industrial automation industry.
• Ideally bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related technical education background in electronics/ electromechanics / industrial automation
• Good in English written/verbal
• Good in Portuguese written/verbal
• Driving license
• Availability to travel in the country and abroad
• Qualifications for Internal Candidates

• Experience with Honeywell process control systems
• Availability to be on call to support customers
• Troubleshooting experience
• Cyber Security knowledge
• Experience in configuring and maintaining managed networking equipment, firewalls. Working experience with TCP/IP networks (network/device configuration, firewall administration).
• Experience in configuring and maintaining Microsoft Windows Servers, domain controller, active directory services etc.
• Systems and network hardening and audit compliance experience
• Microsoft Patch management solutions (WSUS, MSSC) experience
• Installation, maintenance, technical support of Operating systems experience; Virtual machines
• Previous industry experience
• Previous customer service experience
• Solid background in technology/installation/configuration/troubleshooting of IT systems (software and hardware)
• Knowledge about creation of design documents (Network, Active Directory, IP plan, System settings specification)
• Knowledge about networking/switches/routers and PCs
• VMWare and virtualization
