Offer Description

Notice of opening of an international selection procedure for the recruitment of a Doctorate Initial Level Researcher Position.

Responsibilities

The Doctorate Initial Level Researcher will develop R&D activities in the scope of Project GREENSHIP_E “Electrification of Ships Using Green Fuels and Advanced Technologies” in the area of Chemical Engineering, contributing to:
- Task 2 – Fuel Cell Development: Design and in‑house construction of a stack for the targeted vessels;
- Task 2 – Fuel Cell Development: Performance optimization and testing;
- Task 4 – Demonstration and Validation: Validation of the developed solution(s) for the green fuel for on‑board production and storage in ship demonstrators connected to the Fuel Cell optimized stack.
The selected researcher may also provide possible collaboration in teaching and training activities in the area of research.

Qualifications

– Doctoral degree in chemical engineering or related scientific area, holding a Portuguese higher education institution degree or a foreign degree recognized by a Portuguese higher education institution.
– Scientific and professional curriculum that shows an appropriate profile for the activity to be developed.
– Specific competence and previous experience in the development and characterization of PEM fuel cell stacks.

Compensation

Monthly remuneration: €2,351.53, corresponding to level 33 of the Single Salary Table.
