AgState is seeking a Feed Truck Driver (Full-time) to deliver feed goods to customers from Ellsworth, Iowa. The role runs from 3 pm to 1 am, offering daily home time and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, load/unload cargo, and maintain a clean, safe truck. The position emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies within the AgState team.

Qualifications

• DOT medical requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to 48 inches.
• High attention to detail.
• Willing to wear a respirator if required.
• Valid Class A CDL is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feed goods to customers by driving the truck.
• Perform regular pre-trip inspections and maintenance checks.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload the truck efficiently.
• Keep the truck clean and organized to reflect professionalism.
• Assist with other locations as needed and be a team player.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills while interacting with customers and collaborating with co-workers and other departments within AgState.
• Drive a truck to deliver feed goods to customers.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on the truck and conduct daily pre-trip inspections.
• Schedule maintenance with appropriate personnel.
• Load and unload the truck efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized truck to uphold the professional image of AgState.
• Assist with other locations as needed.
• Be a team player.

Qualifications

• Meet the physical and medical requirements set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).
• Demonstrate the ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds from the floor to a height of 48 inches.
• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail.
• Be prepared, if necessary, to wear a respirator.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL.
• 1-2 years of driving experience preferred, but willing to train.
• No restrictions – can drive manual transmission.
