Critical TechWorks is seeking a Facilities Management professional to oversee both soft and hard services across our Porto, Lisbon, and beyond offices. You’ll manage operations, vendors, and asset maintenance to create a productive, safe, and welcoming work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a engineering degree, at least 5 years in corporate facilities, and fluency in English and Portuguese. You’ll drive sustainability, standardization, and collaborative initiatives in a dynamic tech

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil) or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management in a corporate environment.
  • Professional training in Occupational Health & Safety, minimum level VI.
  • Technical expertise in managing operations and maintenance of corporate facilities.
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal policies related to facility management.
  • Proactive and autonomous leadership of facilities team.

Responsabilidades

  • Facilities Operations Management: Plan and oversee soft services (cleaning, reception, surveillance) and hard services (maintenance) for smooth daily operations.
  • Vendor Coordination: Supervise and coordinate services and suppliers, ensuring high-quality performance and compliance with contracts.
  • Maintenance Excellence: Ensure HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are maintained for seamless operations.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal areas to reflect company culture and implement procedures.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Enhancing Employee Experience: Create a welcoming office atmosphere that reflects company culture.
  • Standardization and Improvement: Promote consistency and standardization across all offices.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Propose and implement measures promoting sustainability.

We’re looking for a bright Facilities Management Blacksmith to join our team.

As a Facility Management (Stronghold Blacksmith) at Critical TechWorks, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our office environments. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our facilities operate smoothly and provide a comfortable, efficient, and welcoming space for all employees. This role focuses on managing day‑to‑day operations, overseeing both soft and hard services, and implementing strategies to improve the overall office experience in Porto/Lisbon and beyond.

  • Facilities Operations Management: Plan and oversee soft services (cleaning, reception, surveillance) and hard services (preventive and corrective maintenance) to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Vendor Coordination: Supervise and coordinate services and suppliers, ensuring high‑quality performance and compliance with contracts and regulations.

  • Maintenance Excellence: Ensure that all essential assets, including HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical systems, are maintained in top condition to support a seamless office experience.

  • Collaboration: work with other internal areas to ensure that offices represent and promote the company culture and implement procedures that enable organizational and regulatory policies.

  • Health and Safety Compliance: Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, adhering to legal obligations and best practices.

  • Enhancing Employee Experience: Create a welcoming and comfortable office atmosphere that reflects our company culture and promotes productivity and collaboration.

  • Standardization and Improvement: Be proactive and collaborative – contribute to internal procedures, promoting consistency and standardization in facility management across all offices.

  • Sustainability Initiatives: Propose and implement measures that promote sustainability and environmental responsibility within the facilities.

Whatever you’re working on, here’s the lowdown on the technical skills you’re likely to have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or civil) or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in facility management in a corporate environment.

  • Professional training in Occupational Health & Safety, minimum level VI (preferable).

  • Technical expertise and a proven track record in managing operations and maintenance of corporate facilities.

  • Strong problem‑solving, critical thinking, and decision‑making skills.

  • Effective planning skills to define and implement strategies while managing daily needs.

  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Resilience to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively – capable of shifting between autonomous work and within a team.

  • Knowledge of regulatory and legal policies related to facility management.

  • Ability to foster a positive and autonomous work culture and empower the facilities team.

  • Proactive approach with the ability to bring new ideas to the company.

  • Fluency in English and Portuguese.
