MechaForce in Porto, Portugal is seeking a highly skilled Facade Engineer to design and engineer building facades that are functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. You will work with architects, contractors and clients to develop innovative exterior solutions for modern buildings.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, at least 3 years in facade design, strong knowledge of codes, and proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in facade engineering or related field.
• Extensive knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to facades.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit or similar software.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with architects, contractors and clients.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct site surveys and evaluations to determine design and engineering requirements for building facades.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for facade systems.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure facade design is in line with overall building design.
• Work with contractors to oversee the installation of facade systems on construction sites.
• Conduct tests on materials and systems to ensure they meet safety standards and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in facade technology.
