Job summary

Felps Lisboa seeks a hands-on Cloud Platform Engineer to join its Cloud Services team, designing and building platform engineering products that connect Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow and identity services, with a focus on security, reliability and governance. This senior role requires 10+ years of international experience, strong API integration, Terraform, and DevOps mastery.

You will lead by example, set standards, and coach peers, delivering self-service cloud solutions used by hundreds of teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in API and platform integration.
• Expert API and platform integration in Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow.
• Advanced Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Advanced CI/CD and DevOps (GitHub Actions).
• Advanced cloud security, identity and governance.
• Advanced scripting (PowerShell or equivalent).
• Production operations and monitoring experience.
• Working knowledge of containers and Kubernetes (AKS).

Responsibilities

• Design and build full-stack self-service applications and REST APIs that make cloud easier to use.
• Create reusable Terraform modules, templates and workflows for the full lifecycle of Azure resources.
• Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent) for both infrastructure and software.
• Define and implement automated testing strategies: functional, regression and deployment tests for apps, APIs, IaC modules and cloud services.
• Integrate security and governance by design: IAM, policy enforcement, secrets management, auditability.
• Build observability into the solutions you deliver: monitoring, logging, alerting and documentation.
• Lead technical design, define standards and guide other engineers
• Find and remove manual effort and operational complexity

About the mission

Join the Cloud Services organisation of a global industrial leader and help build the next generation of its Enterprise Cloud platform. The aim is simple: give application teams a secure, governed, self-service way to use Azure, with less manual work and faster delivery.

You’ll design and build platform engineering products: reusable cloud services, APIs, self-service portals and automation workflows that connect Azure, GitHub, ServiceNow and identity services. Security, reliability and compliance are built in from the start. This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You’ll set the standards that others follow.
