Job summary

The Social Hub Porto is seeking a Connector Intern to actively link our semester, co-working, hotel and extended stay communities in Porto. You will support event programming, engage with ambassadors, and help create content across text, video and imagery.

You’ll cultivate partner relationships, manage local social channels within brand guidelines, and represent the community at local events. Fluency in English and Portuguese is required.

• Outgoing and confident personality, able to engage an audience.
• You are the connector, eager to meet people and build relationships.
• Professional and responsible, capable of working independently in a fast-paced setting.

• Visionary with ideas to grow the connector strategy.
• Strong communication and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.”

Responsibilities

• Actively connect The Social Hub Porto’s semester, co-working, hotel and extended stay communities.
• Help set up ongoing programs of events with and for the internal community.
• Be the eyes and ears of the community and main contact for events and activations.
• Build and maintain relations with partners to fill the annual events calendar.
• Host and engage with local student ambassadors regularly.
• Create and deliver digital content based on marketing briefs (text, video, images).
• Own and manage local social channels within brand guidelines.
• Attend and participate in local network events.
