Theodore International Startup Academy (TISA Lisbon) is seeking a qualified Portuguese Teacher for a part-time, on-site role in Lisbon. You will teach European Portuguese to a multilingual student community, both native and as an additional language, across levels with a half-day schedule.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Portuguese language and literature, has a recognised teaching qualification, and demonstrates native or near-native Portuguese with strong English.

Formación

• Degree in Portuguese Language & Literature or related field.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Native or near-native European Portuguese fluency.
• Strong working proficiency in English.
• Experience teaching Portuguese to native speakers or as an additional language.
• Knowledge of CEFR and language curricula.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Portuguese lessons.
• Develop listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.
• Introduce literature and culture from Portugal and Portuguese-speaking countries.
• Create an inclusive, student-centred learning environment.
• Assess, document and communicate student progress to families.
• Contribute to Portuguese language curriculum, materials and assessment tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate language across school life.
