BrightHire in Porto is seeking an Entry-Level Turner to operate and maintain metalworking machines, fabricating parts and products. This contract role offers a monthly salary of $1100 and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

You will set up machines, read blueprints, measure parts with precision tools, and inspect outputs for quality. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety and learning under experienced professionals.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and mechanical principles.
• Physically capable of standing for long periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in various positions.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

As a Turner you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various metalworking machines to fabricate parts and products. • Read and interpret blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate dimensions of finished parts
• Inspect finished parts for quality and make any necessary adjustments or repairs
• Maintain equipment by performing regular maintenance and cleaning tasks
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while operating machinery

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No prior experience required on-the-job training will be provided
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Familiarity with basic hand tools and mechanical principles
• Physically capable of standing for long periods of time lifting heavy objects and working in various positions eg kneeling crouching
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
