Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team
• Previous experience in roofing is not required but considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Assist lead roofer in preparing and cleaning job sites
• Carry and set up equipment and materials
• Measure and cut materials according to specifications
• Install shingles, tiles, or other roofing materials
• Apply adhesives, sealants, or other materials as directed
• Inspect roofs for damage and report any issues to the lead roofer
• Maintain clean and organized work area
