Requirements include a Bachelor's in English Language Teaching and ESL/TEFL certification; prior ESL experience is highly desirable. This contract position offers a monthly salary and opportunities for professional development.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching or related field.
• Teaching certification or license in ESL or TEFL preferred.
• Previous experience teaching English as a second language is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of grammar, writing, reading, listening, and speaking in English.

English Teacher

We are hiring an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Funchal. As a language school, we are committed to providing high-quality education to our students and we are looking for someone who shares this passion and has the skills and experience to excel in this role.

• Plan and deliver effective, engaging, and interactive English lessons for students of varying levels
• Use a variety of teaching methods and materials to cater to different learning styles
• Develop lesson plans, course materials, and assessments that align with curriculum objectives
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on their performance
• Create a positive classroom environment that promotes learning and encourages participation
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to continuously improve teaching techniques and curriculum
• Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress, behavior, or concerns as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching or a related field
• Teaching certification or license in ESL or TEFL preferred
• Previous experience teaching English as a second language is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of grammar, writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills in English
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
• Passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential

Salary:

This is a contract position with a salary of $1000 per month. We offer competitive compensation packages based on qualifications and experience.

Location:

This position is based in Funchal. Applicants must have their own accommodation in the city.

Visa Requirements:

Applicants must have legal authorization to work in Portugal.
