Bosch Portugal is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to automotive embedded systems, designing, implementing and maintaining software for RADAR-related hardware tests within a multidisciplinary team.

You will work in a hybrid environment in Braga, collaborating with hardware, system development and production test teams, using C/C++ and gaining exposure to C#, Python. English communication required. We offer health insurance, training opportunities, canteen and mobility perks.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in SW development for embedded systems.
• Experience with C/C++ and exposure to C#, Python or scripting.
• Familiarity with laboratory equipment (power supply, oscilloscope, etc.).
• Radio frequency knowledge is a nice to have.

• Design, implement, test, document and maintain software for embedded hardware tests related to RADAR.
• Contribute to technical decisions using knowledge, best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with hardware, system development and production test teams.
• Work proactively to understand the system and the role of components.

Your contribution to something big:

• As an Embedded Software Engineer you will be contributing for Bosch portfolio in automotive embedded systems working on a technology that guarantees the quality of our products during its life cycle.
• You will design, implement, test, document and maintain software for hardware functional tests related to RADAR, accounting for coding best practices and a quality mindset.
• You contribute to and defend technical decisions supported on relevant technical knowledge, best practices, and international norms & standards.
• You will work with simultaneous engineering teams cooperating with a relevant number of domains in between hardware development, system development, production test technology, etc.
• You are responsible, pro-active and understand not only the system at a high level, but also what & why of the different components you interact with.

Qualifications

• Education
  • BSc/MSc or Higher in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
• Experience
  • Solid experience in SW Development for embedded systems.
  • Solid experience in C/C++ and exposure to others like (C#, Python, Scripting).
  • Exposure to laboratory equipment (e.g. Power supply, Oscilloscope and/or digital analyzer).
  • Radio frequency domain knowledge, is a nice to have.
• Languages
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
