Job summary

Ascenza Agro is seeking a maintenance technician to perform diagnostics, preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery in Setúbal. You will install, adjust, and commission new equipment while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

The role requires a high school certificate and an electromechanical background with mandatory electrical experience. ATEX knowledge is desirable; integration into a dynamic team with competitive compensation awaits.

Qualifications

High school certificate required.
Electromechanical certificate required.
Experience in Electricity is mandatory.
ATEX knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform failure diagnostics and preventive/corrective inspections and maintenance of machines and equipment in line with procedures and standards.
Ensure compliance with the work order planning.
Install and commission new machines and/or systems per technical specs and safety standards.
Monitor equipment performance and adjust to optimize efficiency; may include PLC programming or automation adjustments.
Maintain detailed maintenance records including failures, parts replaced and improvement recommendations.
Follow internal procedures and promote maintenance best practices.
Integrate safety, environment and quality requirements in all work.
Collaborate with management to report deviations from safety and quality requirements.
