Job summary

Hutchinson in Portugal is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support electrical systems on industrial equipment. You will repair electrical equipment and perform preventive maintenance on the electrical parts of machinery, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

The role requires hands-on problem solving and a proactive, responsible attitude. Ideal candidates have 12th year education, electromechanics or electricity training, knowledge of industrial electricity and operation of electrical

Qualifications

• Minimum education level 12th year or equivalent.
• Training in electromechanics or electricity.
• Knowledge of industrial electricity.
• Knowledge of the operation of electrical equipment and installations.
• Knowledge of installation techniques and electrical tests.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance techniques.
• Knowledge of safety, hygiene and health standards at work.
• Computer skills as a user (office).
• Knowledge of basic programming (PLC) (pref.).
• Knowledge of English (pref.).
• Ability to solve problems.
• Proactive, dynamic, assiduous and with a strong sense of responsibility.
