Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. seeks an Electrical Engineer to support design, development and electrical installation on large data centre projects in Europe.

You will work with a team of electrical subcontractors to ensure delivery aligned with programme timelines and quality standards. The role requires a relevant electrical engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, and strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within mechanical/electrical contracting environments.
• Data Centre experience is advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all works are carried out and managed in accordance with the Winthrop Integrated Management System.
• Manage, review and coordinate drawings, as requested.
• Advise and guide sub-contracted staff on all technical aspects of the project.
• Prioritise and allocate work for the staff on the technical team.
• Ensure sub-contractor compliance with site and project requirements including health and safety obligations.
• Apply troubleshooting techniques to identify problems and apply corrective actions.
• Manage document control to keep logs up to date.
• Create handover packs and test packs for systems.
