Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa in Portugal’s Aveiro region is seeking an EDS-E Engineer to join the Electrical Distribution Systems engineering team. You will design, develop, and deliver electrical distribution systems for major automotive projects, contributing to product lifecycle milestones.

The role requires strong CAD/CAE skills, project coordination experience, and proficient English. Ovar-based candidates are welcome, with the Porto Technical Centre supporting engineering

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) or related field.
• Strong 2D CAD/CAE design tool skills.
• Good English language skills (spoken and written).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Develop 2D drawings, documentation and production materials for wiring harnesses using CAD/CAE tools.
• Align engineering deliverables with project schedules and milestones.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage project risks and status updates.
• Lead or support design reviews with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Participate in quality audits, root cause analysis and CAPA activities.
