FutureTech in Almada, Portugal is seeking a dedicated caregiver to support elderly or disabled individuals on a full-time basis. You will assist with daily living activities, manage medications, prepare meals, and provide companionship in a safe home environment.

The role requires a friendly, caring demeanor and the ability to communicate in English or Portuguese. Prior caregiving experience is preferred, and the position involves physical tasks and adherence to care plans.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Friendly and caring demeanor.
• Ability to handle physical demands of the job.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English or Portuguese.

Responsabilidades

• Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Administer medication according to care plan.
• Prepare meals and monitor dietary restrictions.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for the client.
• Report any changes in the clients condition to the appropriate parties.
