The opportunity

A Drug Pricing Transparency (DPT) Account Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the implementation of drug pricing transparency initiatives. They work closely with internal teams, such as pricing, legal, and compliance, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to develop strategies for pricing transparency. They also collaborate with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and industry associations, to stay updated on evolving regulations and industry best practices. Additionally, they may analyze pricing data, and communicate pricing information to internal and external stakeholders.

Role responsibilities

• Responsible for managing the customer relationship specific to DPT engagements.
• Maintain a current knowledge of trends in the pharmaceutical industry and government programs to understand how they may affect client operations and needs.
• Oversee projects and tasks for internal staff creating reports.
• Ensure client compliance to project plan timeline and submitting required information.
• Communicate regularly with clients, outlining project status, submission requirements and deficiencies.
• Maintain accurate project records and provide regular account status updates.
• Write and track client correspondence, develop agendas and presentations summarizing performance.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of client's business model and product portfolio making targeted recommendations for DPT and other services.
• Achieve annual revenue goal for additional client engagements.
• Proactively develop process improvement recommendations

Do you have what we are looking for?

Skills & expertise

• Bachelors degree in Healthcare, Business, Accounting/ Finance or Technology related field required. An equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered.
• 3+ years of account management experience required.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience in regulatory, compliance and/or DPT space preferred.
• Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
