Recruitment for an international general contractor in the construction industry for the position of:

Document Controller f/m

Localization: Lisbon

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all project documentation adheres to company standards and the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Distribute and track documents to ensure that all relevant stakeholders receive and have access to the latest versions of project documentation (including drawings, schedules, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and reports)
  • Maintain and update project registers such as the document register, RFI register, action log, and issue log
  • Analyse and summarise data from various project logs, highlighting outstanding actions or overdue items
  • Generate regular reports to support project tracking, including document status updates and overdue reports
  • Ensure accurate storage and version control of documents in compliance with project document control procedures
  • Liaise with external consultants and contractors to ensure their documentation complies with project standards
  • Support Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Health & Safety (HSE) initiatives by assisting with audits and ensuring document-related compliance
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar site-based role on multimillion projects
  • High level of verbal and written English is essential
  • Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills
  • High level of IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
  • Suite Experience of knowledge sharing applications is advantageous
