Job summary

Hiscox Underwriting Group Services Ltd Portugal (HUGS PT) is seeking a Data Loss Prevention Team Lead to establish and run a new DLP function, taking ownership of data protection across network, endpoint, cloud and email.

You will shape policy, define the operating model, lead a small team of analysts, and partner with Privacy, Legal and Security to ensure GDPR compliance and effective risk reduction.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise DLP technologies.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR and data classification.
• Proven track record in security incidents and escalation management.
• Experience leading or building a security team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature DLP capability across web, email, cloud and endpoint.
• Define operating model and standards for DLP across Zscaler, Purview, and Mimecast.
• Oversee DLP alerts and incident response across platforms.
• Lead policy design, tuning, and enforcement of DLP controls.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop a DLP analyst team.
