Samba is a media intelligence company based in Porto. We are seeking a Software Engineer (L2) to join our Engineering & Development teams and help build scalable backend services for global traffic.

You’ll own features from design to deployment in an agile environment, focus on distributed systems, and contribute to code quality, testing, and security. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualificações

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical background.
• 2+ years of professional experience in a comparable software engineering role.
• Proficiency with .NET/C# or similar C-based languages.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices and distributed systems concepts.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Comfortable in an Agile team environment and collaborative culture.

Responsabilidades

• Service Evolution: Develop and maintain core backend and middleware services for global traffic.
• Architectural Input: Contribute to software architecture design with senior engineers.
• Data at Scale: Write efficient code handling large data volumes.
• Performance Engineering: Implement low-latency, high-performance solutions.
• Production Insight: Instrument, monitor, and log services; support production debugging.
• Collaborative Growth: Receive mentorship and help grow the team’s skills.
• Code Craftsmanship: Promote clean code, maintainability, and code reviews.
• Global Integration: Build and support B2B integrations with partners worldwide.
