Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Digital Risk & Local IT Support Analyst based in Matosinhos, near Porto, Portugal. The role combines local IT support with extensive cybersecurity and risk management responsibilities within a global HVAC and technology leader.

You will collaborate with centralized security teams and business stakeholders to embed security into digital products, manage vulnerabilities, and monitor risk remediation across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of experience in IT support, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or risk management.
• Understanding of information security principles and cybersecurity controls.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with centralized support teams to resolve incidents and service requests.
• Support local application deployment, upgrades, and user onboarding activities.
• Maintain local IT asset inventories and ensure compliance with corporate standards.
• Partner with Enterprise Cybersecurity and Product Security teams to embed security requirements into digital products and business applications.
• Assist in vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and security control implementation.
• Support security assessments, reviews, and audits of digital products and business applications.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and cybersecurity functions.
• Work with business owners to identify, assess, and document cybersecurity and operational risks.
• Monitor remediation actions and ensure timely closure of identified risks.
