This is a unique opportunity for a budding writer and marketer to join the Chefshealth team for a 6-month paid internship. You will be instrumental in shaping our voice, creating content that resonates deeply with culinary professionals worldwide, and supporting our digital marketing and SEO efforts. Your Role

As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be a key member of our Marketing & Content team. You'll be responsible for crafting high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized content designed to rank on search engines and speak directly to the challenges and aspirations of chefs. Your work will span across our blog, social media, and newsletters, and you'll play an active role in our overall digital marketing strategy, helping us build a strong community and drive our mission forward through organic growth.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & SEO Implementation

• Write, edit, and optimize clear, compelling, and grammatically perfect blog posts, articles, and website copy that are structured for search engine success.
• Implement on-page SEO best practices, including crafting effective title tags, meta descriptions, using proper heading structures (H1, H2, etc.), and internal linking.
• Develop engaging captions and micro-content for our social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook) that align with our content pillars.
• Assist in drafting content for email newsletters and marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions.
• Conduct keyword research to understand search intent and identify high-value topics related to health, wellness, and fitness for chefs.
• Apply on-page and content SEO strategies to all written content to improve organic visibility and search engine rankings.
• Proactively research and pitch new content ideas, campaign concepts, and digital marketing strategies to engage our audience.
• Work closely with our social media team to align content with platform-specific trends and best practices.
• Master and maintain the Chefshealth brand voice—empathetic, knowledgeable, and motivational—across all content.
• Work closely with our content, social media, and marketing leads to ensure a cohesive digital presence and that all content is accurate, on-brand, and aligned with our growth goals.
• Track and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console, reporting on key metrics like organic traffic, keyword rankings, and user engagement.

What You'll Achieve in This Internship

By the end of your 6-month internship, you will have:

• A strong portfolio of published, professional-grade content optimized for search engines.
• A solid foundation in search engine optimization, including keyword research, on-page SEO, content optimization, and performance analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with fundamental SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, keyword research platforms).
• A deep understanding of the health and wellness challenges faced by professionals in the hospitality industry.
• Developed skills in remote collaboration, professional communication, and deadline management.

What We're Looking For

• Exceptional English Writer: Fluency or high proficiency in written English with an outstanding command of grammar, spelling, and style. A portfolio or writing samples are required.
• Passion for Health & Wellness: A genuine interest in topics like nutrition, fitness, mental health, and habit formation. You love learning and writing about these subjects.
• Detail‑Oriented & Proactive: You have a keen eye for detail, can self‑edit your work, and are eager to take initiative, proactively finding new ideas and projects to contribute to.
• Based in Portugal: Must be a resident of and based in Portugal for the duration of the internship.
• Curiosity for SEO (Bonus): A basic understanding of or a strong desire to learn about SEO principles, keyword research, and how content drives organic traffic is a significant advantage.
• Hospitality/Kitchen Experience (Bonus): Previous experience working in a kitchen or the hospitality industry is a huge plus, as it provides invaluable insight into our target audience.

• Team Sync & Brainstorm: Participate in one weekly 30‑minute content and marketing strategy meeting to brainstorm ideas, pitch new concepts, and align on priorities.
• SEO Research & Analysis: Independent time for in‑depth keyword research, competitor analysis, and tracking content performance.

This internship is designed to be a significant learning experience, estimated at 20‑25 hours per week. The workload is structured to provide deep, hands‑on experience while remaining flexible and manageable.
