We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dietitian to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Nutrition and Wellness Specialist, you will play a crucial role in promoting healthy eating habits and providing personalized nutrition plans for our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from athletes to individuals with specific dietary needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual consultations with clients to assess their dietary needs and create personalized nutrition plans
• Provide ongoing support and education to clients on healthy eating habits, portion control, and meal planning
• Stay up-to-date on the latest nutritional research and trends to ensure the most effective recommendations for clients
• Collaborate with other health professionals, such as doctors and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care for clients
• Conduct nutrition workshops and seminars for groups or organizations
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and adjust plans accordingly

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge of nutrition principles, including macro and micronutrients, food allergies/intolerances, and special diets (e.g. vegan, gluten-free)
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate clients towards their health goals
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
• Fluent in English (additional language skills are a plus)
• Valid biometric passport (or ability to obtain one)

Salary

We offer a competitive salary starting at 1400$ per month for this full-time position.
