Job summary

Diaverum AB is seeking a Head Nurse for one of our dialysis clinics to lead nursing care, ensure compliance with professional standards, and foster growth within the team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and valid professional license.
• At least 5 years in Nephrology, including a minimum of 2 years in dialysis techniques.
• Training in team management.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English (preferred).
• Knowledge of quality and environmental systems (preferred).
• Leadership, initiative, critical thinking, decision-making, communication, conflict management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of healthcare provided to patients.
• Ensure the unit operates in compliance with current legislation and Diaverum procedures.
• Promote and participate in national or international research programmes and projects.
• Oversee the development of team members’ skills and competencies.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead nursing interventions.
• Promote and apply Diaverum’s clinical quality standards and procedures.
• Implement nursing care quality standards.
• Drive clinical research initiatives.
• Take responsibility for training and professional development activities.
• Implement and monitor the Quality and Environmental Management System.
• Monitor nursing-sensitive quality indicators.
• Manage material resources efficiently to ensure optimal service delivery.
