Job summary

Remote Crew is seeking a DevOps Team Lead to guide a high-impact, cross-functional team powering a top iGaming platform. You will architect, scale, secure, and optimize infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across global markets from a remote setup in Portugal.

You'll own platform reliability, drive automation, monitor performance, and mentor engineers. Strong leadership, cloud expertise, and English fluency are essential; Portuguese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven team leadership and project management experience.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure and automation tools: AWS, Rancher, Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with PostgreSQL administration, networking concepts, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with monitoring and collaboration platforms (e.g., Atlassian tools or similar).
• Attention to detail and strong documentation habits.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken) - Portuguese is welcomed.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on benchmarking, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• (Bonus) Technical understanding of the iGaming or online gaming industry.

We are looking for a DevOps Team Lead to join a high-impact, cross-functional team powering one of the world's leading iGaming platforms. In this role, you'll lead a team of DevOps engineers responsible for architecting, scaling, securing, and optimizing infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across global markets. You'll be central to platform evolution—enabling scalable deployments, automating operations, reducing costs, and ensuring rock-solid uptime for our digital gaming services.

Location: Remote (Portugal)

Salary: up to €75k/year

What You'll Do

• Lead the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of a DevOps team
• Take ownership of platform infrastructure and application performance
• Deeply understand the platform's architecture, processes, and operational requirements
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using modern DevOps tooling
