Responsibilities

• Поддержка и эксплуатация лабораторий, тестовых и пред-производственных окружений.
• Мониторинг состояния платформы, анализ метрик и соблюдение SLA.
• Поиск и устранение проблем, влияющих на функциональность и тесты.
• Промежуточная версионирование и продвижение изменений между окружениями.
• Разработка и улучшение автоматизированного тестирования и релиз‑валидaции.
• Поддержка релизной деятельности и улучшений в распределенных командах.
• Участие в поддержке 24/7 и дежурствах при необходимости.
• Работа с коллегами в Швейцарии, Индии и США.
• Координация с заинтересованными сторонами и совместное выработку требований.

We are expanding our presence in Lisbon and are hiring four DevOps Engineers to build the Lisbon side of the Ephor team, working hands‑on on the stability, automation and release quality of a live Swisscom platform.

• Maintain and operate the lab, testing and pre‑production environments the team relies on every day.
• Monitor platform health, analyse operational metrics and contribute to defining and meeting service‑level objectives.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues that affect platform functionality and end‑to‑end testing.
• Validate and promote changes across environments so the team can deliver reliably.
• Develop and improve automated testing and release‑validation capabilities, from API to end‑to‑end tests.
• Support release activities, quality assurance and continuous improvement across distributed teams.
• Take part in 24/7 support and on‑call duties when required, with occasional work outside regular office hours.
• Work daily with colleagues in Switzerland, India and the US, clarifying requirements and contributing to shared decisions.

Требования:

• 2–5 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, release engineering or a similar role.
• Solid knowledge of Linux or Unix command‑line environments.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes.
• Understanding of platform operations, environment maintenance and release validation.
• Basic networking knowledge, including IPv4, IPv6 and BGP.
• Programming experience in Python, Go or a similar language.
• Experience with automation and automated testing.
• Hands‑on experience with GitLab and Argo CD (or similar CI/CD and GitOps tools).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across locations and time zones.
• Proactive and responsive, able to work independently in a distributed environment.
• Ability to coordinate with stakeholders, clarify requirements and contribute constructively to shared decisions.
• Professional English communication skills (minimum B2).
• Availability for 24/7 on‑call duties when required and occasional travel to Switzerland (1–2 times per year).
