EY is seeking a Developer in Porto to join multidisciplinary teams delivering technology solutions for financial institutions. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to design, development, testing and deployment of applications that support critical business operations.

You will work with business analysts, architects and client stakeholders in a global, agile environment, applying modern technologies to deliver scalable and secure solutions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• 1-5 years of professional experience in software development (depending on seniority).
• Experience with Java, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain scalable and high-performance applications.
• Develop backend and/or frontend components following best development practices.
• Produce clean, efficient and reusable code.
• Support application integration activities across multiple systems and platforms.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests.
• Support defect analysis, troubleshooting and bug fixing activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security and performance standards.
• Contribute to the implementation of DevOps and CI/CD practices.
• Work closely with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
• Support solution deployment and post-implementation activities.
• Contribute to project documentation and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The opportunity

As a Developer, you will join multidisciplinary teams delivering technology solutions for leading financial institutions. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, contributing to the design, development, testing and deployment of applications that support critical business operations.

You will work alongside business analysts, architects, project managers and client stakeholders, leveraging modern technologies and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic and international environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Software Development
  • Design, develop and maintain scalable and high-performance applications.
  • Develop backend and/or frontend components following best development practices.

To qualify for the role, you must have
