Linear is seeking a Design Engineer with strong visual taste to help drive creative initiatives across web and brand. You will build complex UI experiences, beautiful responsive sites, and prototypes, translating Figma concepts into production-ready interactions.

You should have frontend engineering skills, experience with React and TypeScript, and a portfolio that shows practical coding and design. This remote position offers equity, generous vacation, parental leave, and opportunities to work

• The role expects a broad set of design skills and the ability to create high-quality designs, interactions, and prototypes.
• In this role, you will help communicate Linear's story - what they're building and why it matters as part of the internal creative agency: the Magic Team.

What You'll Be Doing

• You will be responsible for building complex and interactive UI web/app experiences.
• Build beautiful, responsive websites, landing pages, and internal tools.
• Implement creative animations and interactions in code.
• Explore visual design in Figma and translate it to web-native experiences.

What You'll Bring

• Eye for good design.
• Strong frontend engineering skills.
• Experience building end-to-end websites and landing pages.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience using agentic coding tools as part of the design process (from exploring ideas to building production-quality interactions).
• A portfolio or Twitter profile showcasing a range of technical skills, a creative use of code, and prototyping skills.
