Diaverum Lisboa is seeking a Deputy Head Nurse to support the Head Nurse in coordinating the nursing team, organizing care, and driving quality and safety improvements within our Lumiar clinic. This on-site, full-time role requires a nursing degree and a valid licence, with a strong background in dialysis techniques and leadership.

You will contribute to multidisciplinary patient care, participate in training and clinic projects, and deputise for the Head Nurse when needed.

Qualificações

• Degree in Nursing and a valid professional nursing licence.
• Specialist nursing qualification in an area relevant to the role.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care across the different care settings within the clinic.
• Ensure the implementation of quality and safety standards based on the best available scientific evidence.
• Document nursing interventions promptly and accurately, and report incidents.
• Promote patient and family empowerment, patient autonomy and adherence to treatment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Promote coordination across different levels of healthcare.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and research programmes and projects.
• Contribute to the training and professional development of other healthcare professionals.
• Support the organisation and management of the nursing team’s work, helping resolve care-related and organisational issues.
• Support clinic management and the coordination of teams and clinic projects.
• Deputise for the Head Nurse during their absence.
