Jobtailor in Portugal seeks a data and analytics professional to support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. You will develop scalable Excel and Power BI models, automate data tasks with Python, and contribute to AI data pipelines while ensuring data quality and accuracy across cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes independent work, ownership of workstreams, and clear stakeholder communication in English. Relevant degree and 2+ years’ experience are preferred.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience (IT, Administration, Finance, Accounting).
• Exposure to data analytics preferred.
• Comfortable building scalable Excel models and Power BI reports.
• Knowledge of Python for data extraction, transformation, automation and analysis.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI; data pipelines and data quality concepts.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate recurring analytical exercises such as the financial forecasting of business units.
• Own and deliver on a small area of workstreams within strategic and operational projects.
• Support budgeting and workforce planning processes.
• Build and maintain reporting & forecasting models (Excel).
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and supporting data structures.
• Automate data extraction, processing, and analysis using Python.
• Support data engineering work for AI RAG initiatives, including data preparation and pipeline reliability.
• Monitor, validate, and report on system data quality and drive remediation of issues.
• Support ad-hoc Chief Delivery Officer requests and cross-team projects.
