Fyld is hiring an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to join our Portuguese consulting team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields, plus Oracle certifications (OCP/OCM) and proven DBA experience with Oracle Database.

You will manage installations, configurations, maintenance, and upgrades across Oracle versions (11g, 12c, 19c+), write SQL/PLSQL, monitor and optimize performance, and implement robust

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field
• Oracle certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM)
• Proven experience as a DBA focusing on Oracle Database
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle DB versions 11g, 12c, 19c and above
• Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of Oracle Database instances
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database administration and development
• Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance
• Experience with SQL performance tuning and database tuning
• Experience with backup and recovery strategies, including RMAN
• Knowledge of high availability environments such as Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC
• Knowledge of database security practices, including access control, encryption, auditing
• Experience implementing security policies and compliance with data protection regulations
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Perl, Python) for automation
• Experience with database monitoring and management tools such as OEM
• Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to decide in critical situations
• Fluency in English

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related fields

• Relevant Oracle certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM)

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) focusing on Oracle Database

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database versions 11g, 12c, 19c, and above

• Experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of Oracle Database instances

• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for database administration and development

• Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance

• Knowledge of high availability environments, such as Oracle Data Guard and Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)

• Knowledge of database security practices, including access control, data encryption, and auditing

• Experience implementing security policies and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations

• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Perl, Python) for automating administrative tasks

• Experience with database monitoring and management tools, such as Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)

• Ability to diagnose and resolve performance and availability issues in the database

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make informed decisions in critical situations

• Fluency in English
