act digital is seeking a Data Visualization Engineer to join its Data Platform team in Lisbon. You will transform complex data into actionable insights by delivering Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and KPI definitions, while building robust data pipelines in Dataiku and dbt.

You will work with SQL and Python to automate processes, manage BigQuery data assets, and apply Terraform-based IaC to cloud resources, ensuring data quality and governance across the analytics lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Data Visualization, BI, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI including dashboards, DAX, semantic models, and workspace management.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling principles and analytical data structures.
• Experience with dbt and Dataiku.
• Advanced SQL skills with complex datasets.
• Good experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery.
• Hands-on knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for a Data Visualization Engineer to join a Data Platform team, working across Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Data Engineering to transform complex data into actionable insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and semantic models.
• Define, implement, and monitor business KPIs and performance metrics.
• Design, build, and optimize analytical data models to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Dataiku.
• Build and manage data models and transformations using dbt.
• Develop advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Use Python to automate data-related processes and support engineering activities.
• Work within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem, particularly with BigQuery.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and environments using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Ensure high standards of data quality, governance, lineage, and documentation.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, datasets, access, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering, Analytics, and business teams to deliver reliable and scalable data solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of the end-to-end data lifecycle, from ingestion and transformation to visualization and reporting.

Main Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technological field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in Data Visualization, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Power BI, including dashboards, DAX, semantic models, and workspace management.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling principles and analytical data structures.
• Practical experience with dbt and Dataiku.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.
• Good experience with Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery.
• Hands‑on knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, and lineage practices.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in enterprise Data Engineering, Analytics, or Business Intelligence environments.
• Knowledge of Cloud Composer and/or Apache Airflow.
• Experience optimizing workloads and queries in BigQuery.
• Knowledge of data governance and data security practices.
• Fluent French.
